In Dolphin Time (Four Winds Press, MacMillan, 1994) is an illustrated story about how possibilities can be engaged with abundant and unforeseeable outcomes. The narrator finds and forgets that he has dolphins in his pocket, but once they are put in their natural element, water, they come to life and into conversation with him and us. But domestic creatures they are not, so when they move into their natural setting, the horizon expands again and rich possibilities open.

A silent meditation of shadows and reality mingled to create a hymn to light.” Umbrella, Photobooks, p. 49., 1987.
